RPB Technology group's research
projects

The RPB Technology group conducts various research projects financed by state institutions such as Polish National Science Centre, Polish National Centre for Research and Development.

Between 2016 and 2019, the team was working on the INVITES project, co-financed by Polish National Centre for Research and Development, and realized with the companies ENVIMAC and OMNIKON.

Between 2020 and 2023, the group carried out a project within the OPUS 17 call by Polish National Science Centre, which was focused on development of novel rotating packed bed internals.

Since 2022, the team has worked on a research project within the OPUS LAP 20 call by Polish National Science Centre. The project is carried out in cooperation with the RPB team of Technical University of Brno, and focuses on investigation and modeling of three zones of mass transfer in an RPB.

The RPB Technology team has a vast field of research expertise, including:

  • Hydrodynamics in RPBs
  • Mass transfer phenomena
  • Kinetic modeling of RPB
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations
  • Process control
  • 3D Design and independent manufacturing of innovative RPB internals

The team remains open for research cooperation initiatives.
